Voice from the Chair Welcome to our 10th edition of Bangers and mash, which comes at an exciting time for us all.
With the company having concentrated on pig production, slaughter and processing for the past 30 years, our state of the art export licensed ‘halal’ Beef slaughter facility is nearing completion and should open its doors during the fourth quarter of 2010.
Voice from the Chair May I begin by wishing our entire customer
base a happy, healthy and prosperous 2007.
Since our last edition of Bangers & Mash, we have witnessed
a record number of tourists arriving in Kenya, magnificent
short rains experienced countrywide and an ongoing strong demand
for the entire Farmer’s Choice brand on the domestic
market.

and Mash. As time continues to fly, those of us living in
Nairobi have enjoyed good long rains in April and May this
year having just come out of a particularly mild, ‘cold
season’, and can now look forward to plenty of sunshine,
leading us to the year end.

we will bring you news on various changes within our Management Team
that will be relevant to you and will introduce you not only to Sales
and Quality Assurance Management, but will also highlight those responsible
for servicing our up-country customers.

It is quite extra-ordinary the way time has flown this year and unbelievable
that we are approaching another year-end! In this edition, we will try
to bring you a view of the ‘lighter side’ of certain members
of Farmer’s Choice’s management team, and will also update
you on events, sponsorship, new products and above all, what we at Farmer’s
Choice can do for you to ensure you have a truly wonderful festive season.
