It is unbelievable that we are halfway through
2007, as it
seems only yesterday that we were talking about our
Christmas festivity programme and our New Year offerings.
This edition of Bangers & Mash brings you, in pictorial format,
relevant information we feel you may need when dealing with
our Sales Department.
Business on all fronts has been brisk during
the past quarter with tourism set to break all records this
year.
Exceptional demand coupled with one or two hiccups
in the industry caused shortages in certain pork primals during
the
past quarter, but these have been overcome with pig
production thriving and the company now able to boast its full
product range.
Whilst the strengthening of the Kenya shilling
has played havoc with export margins, our export market continues
to grow with
additional sales management having been appointed in Dar-es-
Salaam and Arusha to meet the increasing demand.
Our service to the retail market continues to
meet the ongoing challenges offered by increasing traffic congestion
in Nairobi
and its environs and whilst we continue to explore alternatives
as to how best to overcome these, we must thank you or your
patience when orders are slightly delayed.
As we enter the second half of 2007, may we
thank you for your continued support and wish you all happiness
and good health
throughout the year. Jim Taylor
